Hitting the Books:
Mystical Manga (left) – Three of Coins: Remember that everyone is on the same team, working together toward the same goal. Bring your best self to the project and help facilitate smooth teamwork.
Wild Wood (middle) – The Ancestor: Your instinctive spirit has felt it necessary to lead you to the gateway and a new path. You may have been reluctant or concerned at first, but whether you realize it or not a shift has occurred.
Shadowscapes (right) – The Page of Cups: Her vessel filled with warmth and sunlight from the surface, this Page retreats to the quiet safety of the depths. Wrapped in the comfort of the sun she lets her mind begin to drift as her vision fills with dreams of the fantastic. She listens to the still voice from deep inside that speaks with understanding and intuition.
Mystical Manga: With a lot of projects on my plate, it’s nice to start a draw with the Three of Coins. This is the poster child for working well with others – or even working well within your own capabilities. It’s hard to say if this card is letting me know I’ll manage to pull everything together on my own – coworkers be damned – or if people’ll surprise me today and pull together.
Wild Wood: Change is coming, and change coming from The Ancestor fills me less with concern and more with excitement. This is good change – even if it ends up being a little rough to adapt to, the outcome will still be good.
Shadowscapes: The Page of Cups from this deck strikes me as the Me Card. I don’t have anything against the Surface People – I quite like the sun and will stand by my belief that humanity is more good than bad. But humanity is so Noisy, and tucking into the depths of my mind and imagination is a welcome activity. The important thing to remember with this card, is that she’s doing so with a bowl of sunlight. This isn’t unhealthy escape, this is understanding that we all need a break – and it is wise even in that break to not let go of the above world.
Ménage à Maybe:
The cards today feel like separate declarations from each deck. If there’s anything connecting them it’s not readily jumping out at me. Of course, starting my day by being swimmingly nauseous at 2 in the morning and worrying I’d have to cancel the entire day, probably means I’m at least a little off.
But Mystical Manga seems to be assuring me about work, Wild Wood seems to be guiding me in my personal journey, and Shadowscapes seems to be assuring me of the health of my inner self. And I’m okay with these small, semi-unrelated assurances ^_^
