Hitting the Books:
Mystical Manga (left) – Six of Coins: This is about the have and the have nots. This is about deciding who gets what and who gets left behind. This is, as a rule, a call out to you that you HAVE plenty – spoons, money, time, etc. And that the important part is deciding who to give that Have to – and how generously you can do so.
Wild Wood (middle) – Six of Bows: The spring flush, the summer harvest, the Great Hunt – this card is about abundance, but also about understanding that Winter is around the corner. Abundance needs to be shared among the village so that all can survive the coming winter.
Shadowscapes (right) – Eight of Cups: Turn away from the material and dive deep into yourself. The light of the sun and it’s warmth will come with you as you dissolve into the quiet depths of the deep ocean.
I don’t want for much, and it’s reflected in today’s cards. I’m not saying this as a brag or anything like that – I’m acutely aware that there are little to no social, monetary, or relationship reasons for me to feel stress. Mental Illness takes care of that all on its own regardless of how well I’m doing.
Even with all that abundance, Shadowscapes is suggesting looking inward. I did some trance work yesterday, trying to really dive into the cards that I pulled, but it was more or less fruitless. I’m still really new to trance so I have some days where it’s difficult for me to even just get into my grove, never mind doing any actual meditation.
Ménage à Maybe:
I’m having a heck of a time focusing this morning – but the short version is I’ve got plenty to work with, I should be generous with it, but don’t forget there are lean times, and today is probably a good day to try some trance/meditation, even after yesterday.
